Now I see!  (John 9: 1 - 38)
By: B.M.

the_blind_man.jpgThe story of the blind man always moves me. It is so fascinating. The man was born blind. He never had seen a single ray of light, a sunrise, his parents, his own face, or even a smile. He begged for a living. Jesus spat and made mud and gave him sight. Many feel if they get mud in their eyes they would go blind. It must have been very tough on his parents to see their son blind. Parents delight in seeing their children healthy and happy.

Jesus had compassion on him and wanted to help him. What is really good is the man got his sight and with it he got his faith too. A faith that no one can shake! We sometimes don’t understand why we are in a certain situation.  Born poor or rich, healthy or handicapped… all in all it should be “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him (you).” John 9:3. So to the man that was born blind, congratulation on your sight and your faith. You are a very blessed man. The first thing you saw was Jesus face. I think that was worth the wait Smile.
